IAEA Task Force Makes Progress in Safety Review of Japan’s Plans for Discharge of Water Stored at Fukushima Site

An International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Task Force – set up last year to review the safety of the implementation of Japan’s Basic Policy to handle the treated water stored at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station – this week carried out a new mission to the country to review its updated technical plans for the water discharge.
